Supra Skytop - Purple Tie Dye

The grey version of Supra’s Tie Dye Pack had purple accents, but this latest edition elevates the former supporting colour to a lead role. In this new Supra Skytop, purple is everywhere except the midsoles. It’s actually on the midsoles too, in the form of Supra’s signature double stripe. As for the upper, it’s a marbled mix of purple tones, highlighted by light purple laces with a lining to match, plus violet upper eyelets. These are available now at Limited EDT.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High - Ruff N Tuff - Quai 54 Edition

You may remember seeing the Ruff N Tuff Quai 54 edition of the Jordan Elements and now an Air Jordan 1 Retro High version has just started to pop up in some stores across the pond. To coincide with the basketball tournament held every year in France, Jordan Brand has whipped up a fresh new Air Jordan 1 colorway with a Laser Blue wrinkled leather upper, a speckled midsole and a clear outsole that allows a graphic pattern to show through on the bottom. Also of note is the same wild patterned lining that was featured on the Quai 54 Jordan Elements. These have already begun to hit select Jordan retailers in Europe and are not expected to drop in the States, so you might want to try eBay. Via NT.

Air Yeezy + Air Scandal = Air Scandeezy by Sole Heaven

UK retailer, Sole Heaven, has just come up with a very interesting alternative for those who missed their shot at the Zen Grey Air Yeezy’s. They took the Nike Air Scandal and customized it with a fresh Air Yeezy colorway, therefore giving birth to the Air Scandeezy. The result is a slick-looking model with definite Yeezy flavor, but a more conservative silhouette. As of right now, these are only a 1 of 1 sample, but if the response is strong enough, Sole Heaven will go into production on them. If this is something you’d be interested in, you can let them know at customerservice@soleheaven.com. You can check out some more pics and a video after the jump. Via Freshness.

Converse Fall/Winter 2009 Chuck Taylor Hi Strap

We have already seen many additions on the classic Converse Chuck Taylor and for Fall/Winter 2009 they are introducing yet another new one - the double ankle strap. Converse has always managed to add and tweak the classic design in order to make it right for the times. “Ankle straps are the heat at the moment! Alright, so let’s add those!”. We can only imagine it went like that. We cannot say that we are huge fans of these, not even because we think they look bad, it just feels weird to jump the train of ankle straps this way.

Well, those were our 5 cents on the topic. The sneaker comes in several colorways next season, ranging from more subtle white, to more flashy black/metallic gold options.

Vans Californication Collection Holiday 2009 | Switchback Boots

For Holiday 2009 Vans will be introducing the Switchback boots as part of the Californication Collection. The boot will be coming out in two colorways, featuring premium suede and coated canvas uppers, making sure your feet stay dry and warm. The lacing comes close to a traditional boot, whereas the rest of the boot reminds more of a mid-cut sneaker. Look out for a release in October 2009.
