Vans Eco Pack

This season Vans will be releasing the Eco Pack. The pack consists of J-Lay, AV Sk8 Low and the Rowley “Shambles” Hi. All three sneaker come with hemp uppers, soy based prints and come in recycled shoe boxes. Look out for the pack in the near future.

JORDAN 1 HI STRAP (WMNS)

Remember when purple was the 'it' colour on the streets? Well it looks like it's making a welcome return with the resurrection of the Jordan 1 Hi strap below. Made just for the ladies, the Jordan 1 is fast taking the place of the Court Force as the high top of choice, thanks to the colour picking going down in the Brand Jordan HQ. If you fancy some grape on your crepe, then get your pair here.

Nike Zoom Flight Club - JR Smith PE

JR Smith’s performance in the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest was overshadowed by ‘Kryptonate’ Robinson and Dwight ‘Superman’ Howard (who your author think *really* won). These kicks were relased in a Playoff Pack (POP) edition for three-time NBA Champion Tony Parker, but this dope colourway might finally be JR’s time to shine. The Nike Zoom Flight Club JR Smith PE features a mostly grey perforated upper with white Swoosh, toe and midsole elements. The other parts of the midsole feature a dope light-on-dark speckled blue pattern, while the light blue is repeated on the lining and Swoosh outline. These might release later this season, but you can have yours now from Osneaker.

Nike Air Force 180 Meteorite Colorway

Although tonal black colorways seem to make their way into every season of Nike Basketball releases, this latest joint offers just a bit more to steer them into one of the hotter tonal efforts done in some time. Getting a closer look from earlier previews, Nike takes the classic Air Force 180, made popular by Charles Barkley, and outfits the kicks in a pitch black upper contrasted with speckled “meteorite” midsoles. Look for these to drop at Nike accounts very soon.

Air Jordan 2009 - UNC PE

Every year during March Madness, the University of North Carolina Basketball Team usually has a new pair of Air Jordan Player Exclusive shoes on their feet. In the past season’s they’ve usually been Jordan Brand team shoes, however this year it seems Jordan Brand wanted to take care of the alma mater of Michael Jordan and gave them a new colorway of the Air Jordan 2009 and arguably one of the best one’s we’ve seen yet. This Air Jordan 2009 UNC PE comes in a White and University (Carolina) Blue colorway with the upper using a combination of different materials. Additionally there is a UNC logo lasered on the shoe’s tongues. Nike Air Force 1 - July ‘09

It looks like Nike has some interesting plans for the Air Force 1 this summer, with five new releases slated for a July drop. All five versions have distinctly different looks, from the very basic to some pretty wild designs. There will be two Air Force 1 Mids, one in a simple white with yellow accents and the other in royal and some type of grey reptile skin that seems to fade in and out of a pattern. One of the low models also uses the synthetic scales in yellow on top of a bright yellow base and midsole. The other Air Force 1 Low seems tame in comparison, sporting a nice black/yellow upper with a white midsole and accents. The final piece in the July collection is a grey Air Force 1 High that is completely covered in white polka-dots. Nike Air Classic BW Red/Black/White Colorway

Following up on earlier samples, Nike officially drops a new colorway in their Classic BW Series which initially made its debut back in 1991. The sneakers still maintain their nostalgic value with a clean color scheme similar to that of the iconic Violet makeup instead replaced by vibrant red accenting on a black/white backdrop. Available now at select Nike accounts including Caliroots.

Vans Sk8-Hi - Charcoal + Black + Blue Mini-Check

We saw some lux Sk8-His earlier today, and here are some of the OG variety. The Vans Sk8-Hi appears here in three new editions. The first two are relatively simple: black or charcoal with a white Vans stripe atop their signature vulcanized rubber sole. The third keeps the vulc and uses a simple white and blue palette, but the standout feature is the mini-checkerboard lining we’ve seen on a few other pairs lately. Nike Terminator Basic ND - July ‘09

It has already been a big year for the Nike Terminator and based on Nike’s July release plans, it looks like there will be no signs of slowing down. Nike has ten different releases of the Nike Terminator Basic ND set to release in both High and Low versions and both men’s and women’s sizes. Two different concepts are explored with these releases. Seven of these ten Terminators feature gradient coloring, moving from the heel down towards the toe. The other three have an interesting dot pattern on the uppers behind the Swoosh that adds a nice textured look in contrast to the solid panels that surround it. Air Jordan V (5) DMP2 Raging Bull - Reflective 3M

The Air Jordan V (5) Defining Moments II Pack (DMP2) ‘Raging Bull’ is amont the most popular releases from Jordan Brand in quite a while. Marquee Sole had an extremely limited run of the red suede pair and now the same is true of their counterparts. As you see above (and will see after the jump), these joints are done in a black reflective 3M material that appears as a sort of metallic silver when light shines on them in an otherwise darkened envronment. If you don’t want to wait for the sure-to-be-deluxe packaging and/or have smallish feet, Marquee Sole has US mens sizes 7.5-9.5 for a limited time.
